Preserve visitation numbers 2008 As of April 15th 2006, Lower
Silver Creek experienced a 100 year flood event for 3 days. While this
flood did not cause major damage, it did shift silt around quite a bit.
The full extent of this flooding will become evident as the stream
clears. Purdy's Dam took a small hit and had some minor damage but it
looks as if it held up pretty well. Please feel free to send us photos
or observations that you might find.
