As of April 15th 2006, Lower Silver Creek experienced a 100 year flood event for 3 days. While this flood did not cause major damage, it did shift silt around quite a bit. The full extent of this flooding will become evident as the stream clears. Purdy's Dam took a small hit and had some minor damage but it looks as if it held up pretty well. Please feel free to send us photos or observations that you might find. Photos
