The Sources and Causes of
Sedimentation in Silver Creek by C.Y Manuel, J.S. Griffith and
G.W. Minshall 1979
Results of
15 months sampling, which covered the period from March 1978 to June
1979, show that fluvial transport of suspended material by the three
major tributaries, Stalker, Grove, and Loving Creeks, is the principal
source of sediment. Data indicates that Stalker Creek carried approx.
62% of the total sediment , while Grove and Loving creeks contributed
23% and 15% respectively. Etc. etc |
